Show what youth can do!
Our Imua’69 class community project at Ka’ewai Elementary provides an opportunity to support what our youth can do. May 29, 2019 was the second workday for this year’s efforts. Neal Chung with help from Blossom Tong and others did a bang up job of documenting the day…
Neal Chung’s Diary of the day’s events…
….I discovered the Power of IC….looong ago…tooo lazy to think of something to bring to my various buddy’s potluck parties….
….just go to the store and buy some good IC….(sooo, nobody thinks I cheap)… always been a Hit ! …
…..got almost 50 IC bars…knew there gonna be about 20 kids…and some us beeeger kids…but the kids wen whack em all in two rounds…
….get a feeling they were all nice to me….in hopes, I come visit more…
….but must apologize to U’i….neva get a good photo of you…only your arm …and a little bit of your okole (you need to look for her)…
…Alan introduced me to Jim Mendoza…never formally met him before…
….Faith came up to and said to me… she had to make her hair nice…because she was next up for an interview with him….
…and nice of Jim to ask her who her hardest workers were …and he interviewed 2 of them…
….they goin be on TV ! ….
… I think almost all the kids and everybody else got into a camera shot..(except for you know who)…
…..was endearing to see Blossom connecting with the kids…they all gathered around her…
…but she got into a fun argument with one…when they counted their white goodie bags… said there were 21…
…and she disagreed…said to count again by the rows…
…they both counted again…and the kid was Right !…
Was a Great Day…but Hott !…
….Nuff for Now…Neal
